Salad Leaves 'Oriental Mix' is a specially selected mix of 'Baby Leaf' leaves that have been matched so that leaf development and the flavours complement each other.
They are quick and easy to grow and crops are usually ready to harvest within a month. They give a colourful and flavoursome salad that just requires your favourite dressing or can be used in stir-fries for additional flavour.
Our 'Oriental Mix' contains; Red Giant Mustard, Green Giant Mustard, Green Pak Choi, White Pak Choi, Mizuna & Tatsoi Tah Tsai. An unusual mix to 'pep' up your salads.

Prefers well drained, moist, rich soil. Does well in containers.

How:

Sow thinly in a prepared seed bed or pot/tray and lightly cover with fine soil. Carefully water with a fine hose. Seedlings will appear in 6-12 days and then thin to 5cm apart. For a continuous supply sow every 2-3 weeks.

Care:

Water in carefully especially during dry periods and keep weed free.

4-6 weeks from sowing - April to August. Season can be extended if grow in greenhouse/polytunnel in August/Sept. |
