Runner Bean Seeds - Polestar |
|
The 'Polestar' Runner Bean produces attractive red flowers and heavy yields of fantastic tasty stringless pods over a long period.
Can be grown in a container. A companion planting idea is to plant sweet peas and runner beans together over a teepee, it not only looks pretty but the sweet peas draw in the insects that will help to pollinate the runner beans and therefore produce more beans.
Approx 50 seeds per pack.

They will require support as they grow up to 2m high either use canes and/or train over netting. 'Pinch out' the top growth when they have reached the required height and they will start putting all their energy into producing beans.
