'Red Baron' onion is an excellent red onion that doesn't easily bolt and stores well. It is a semi-globe type with deep crimson skin colour and has a nice crisp texture. 'Red Baron' onion has a milder onion flavour than it's white cousin and has concentric rings of red & white flesh also making it an attractive addition to the dinner plate as well.
Onions are used in cookery almost on a daily basis and add lots of flavour to many dishes from the humble but tasty cheese & onion toastie to delicious soups, stews and posh nosh, they are a staple ingredient for many dishes.
