Lettuce Seeds - Little Gem |

The 'Little Gem' Lettuce is a quick maturing Cos lettuce which can be sown early for a May or June crop.
The 'Little Gem' is small, crisp and compact and considered to be the sweetest lettuce.
This variety is easy to grow and also great for patio containers.

Prefers well drained, moist, rich soil. But grows and looks well in containers.

| How: |
Sow thinly in pots or in a prepared bed in rows 25cm apart and lightly cover with fine soil. Seedlings appear 7-14 days. Thin to about 15cm apart when large enough. Water in carefully with a fine hose. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.

| Care: |
Keep moist especially during dry weather, weed free and protect early sowings with a cloche. Always water in the morning or mid-day as watering in the evening will increase the risk of disease.
